can Lamina flow engine work as a big engine

Post by jaket »

hi
question 1:
I've been watching lamina flow stirling vids from youtube, but I haven't seen any big engine for this style?

can they work? I was thinking that if you have like 1m long tube and 10cm piston, with over 10cm stroke, can it work.?

I was just thinking that if bigger size lamina flow engines would work, it's the easiest configuration to make multicylinder engines.

question 2:
I've seen lamina flow engines with fluid pistons. I was thinking that piston could be changed to speaker element. could it work?

Took a while to load the vidio on dail up, but worth it, I think this is the way that hot air engines should go, cheap as possible, and giving as much power as possible, keep it simple. Ian S C
