Heinrici

Post by markombi »

I have been given the task of repairing an Heinrici engine of approx1900circa. It is mostly complete but missing the flywheels and crankshaft. If I make a pattern for the flywheels I can have them cast at a local foundry. From photos I could see where the rim coincides with the body and ascertained the diameter at 270mm. Can someone confirm this or give me a correct measurement.
Also I need to know the stroke of the power piston for the crankshaft. From what i see in photographs it is a built up unit rather than forged or turned from stock.

What size is the power cylinder? There was a whole line of Heinrici engines, as well as various models and reproductions, all different sizes, usually differentiated by the piston/cylinder diameter.
