I want to build a Beta Stirling engine with Rhombic drive.
After some calculations, designed it on CAD and now want to proceed with fabrication.
As i lack the experience with the fabrication , i will be requiring your experience for the fabrication. I will be starting with the rhombic drive first, to have better ideas of stroke length and overlap volume.

And my question is:
What would be the best way to connect the links in the rhombic drive?
Saw some videos and images but still not able to figure out whether they are using bearings, pins or nut bolt.

CAD, I would recommend using ball bearings if possible, remember that you must do all that you can to reduce friction.
I have started building a motor to a similar design to the one in burnit0017 entry above, but some what larger.

Hi Ian, Glad you answered the post. As you have build plenty of Stirling engines you must have joined the links before. Can you share a image regarding the arrangement of bearing in the links.

Hi CAD, the rhombic that I am building is not quite right yet, but I'm using ball races with 5 mm bore in aluminium links, and I have a pair of nylon gears on it, but I think I'll have to revise the design. I'll see if I can get a worthwhile photo at some time.
