I am very new to this forum.I am constructing themoacoustic stirling engine but my first try failed. Flywheel is not rotating due to vaccume and compression before applying heat to the engine. My question is whether after constructing engine and before applying heat if I try to move flywheel, should it complete some rotations easily? Piston and cylinder are air tight and moves freely. I am requesting experts to guide me in this view.

I think the easiest way to get help in here is to post a few picture of your engine.
