Crankshaft

Post by shafiqmahadi90 »

Hello everyone,

I was thinking to design Beta Type Stirling Engine with the crankshaft between Displacer and power Piston, i just want to save some space for the engine. If anyone have any idea how to design the crankshaft of this stirling engine. I design the basic 0 degree 90 degree and 0 degree again.

Thanks!

Sorry I don't have a good photo, this is the best I have of the crankshaft of my 1 3/4" bore x 3/4" power stroke, and 1 1/16" displacer stroke BETA motor. The power crank is in the shadow on the left, and the displacer rod and con rod / crank on the right.
And the motor its self, water cooled, 155 mm flywheel. Heated by gas.
