Hello, I´m new to this forum and also to Stirling engines. I´m thinking about building my first engine soon. I´ll may try to follow some ideas from the book "Stirling and Hot air engines", but haven't decide yet, any sugestions ?
About me, I´m a 42 years old blacksmith, I'm also interested in electronics and solar energy. As a matter of fact I intend to build a solar Stirling, but first I want to build some simple models to get the feeling.
That's enought for now.
Thanks and Bye.

Welcome to the forum. I am new here also having just built my first LTD engine. I runs, but not very well, but I am very enthused about making a better one for my second attempt. There is a lot of useful information buried in this forum. Take some time and read thru the posts, I did while taking notes and it is surprising how much information is in here.

Good luck on your model, let us know how it goes.

Don
