Is it possible to build 1MWt Stirling engine?

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to build 1MWt Stirling engine for electricity generation? For this case Stirling vs turbine, which one you think more efficient in terms of efficiency and size?

Nothing is impossible, but I think cost of building and running, and the size might just rule the Stirling Engine out. But as a power supply in space ie the moon or mars the Stirling Engine with a Nuclear heat pack would be the way to go.

Thank you so much!

I am looking for a procedure to estimate the size of the engine. How can I calculate engine dimentions for example, cylinder volume, diameter and the overall size of the engine>? What do you recommend?
