Thermo like propane engine

Postby cbstirling2 » Thu Nov 09, 2017 8:31 am

I saw this model engine on eBay listed for only 20 usd from China.
Looks propane powered and similar to the Thermo antique engines. I didn't buy as it seemed too good to be true. Anyone know about the engine?

Looks like a Duplex brand beta-type Stirling

Perhaps a Chinese brand? I wonder if they were made in large quantities?

CBStirling, at that price it would be almost worth the gamble, a number of the motors on that site are really cheap, about a 1/3 the price similar motors sell here retail.
