Reversible alpha model??

Postby cbstirling2 » Sun Apr 09, 2017 8:27 pm

This model on eBay is marketed as reversible:
'Designed in Dual heating tube which works in "alternative" - when one tube is heating, another tube will work as radiation, it works in alternative and engine running in reversible direction.'

It's a 90v alpha. Would the displacement offset 90 degrees in one direction and 270 in the other not work?

I suspect the real reason for the crown pistons on both sides is improved cooling...

Lol, after sleeping on it, it's obvious! It's 90 degrees relative from the vantage of the heat side, so it doesn't matter.
I do suspect Superior cooling as well.
