1 / hot cap should be as thin as possible ( thickness of hot cap my stirling :about = 0.5 mm )

You should have your engine image, the important of covers for burners: fit outside diameter, length, and height to the floor of heating chamber

You should check out everything Ian said
And you should check this position, it requires airtight and the shaft must move smoothly, It requires a fairly straight shaft, and the hole fits snugly
