Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
In an ambient air version, yeah the pump would pump back into the atmosphere. In a version with Delta T it will pump into the condensor. Ideally the pump is the condensor. The means to sustaining the vacuum is the turbine. And this is the part that needs testing. Is there enough kinetic energy in th...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
The thing that needs finding out is, can I harness enough kinetic energy from the initial conversion in the nozzle to be able to power the pump and have some left over.

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
There is a vacuum between the nozzle and the pump. The pump should be sized so that it keeps a vacuum, even with the inflow of fluid. That fluid's internal kinetic energy is converted to external kinetic energy (I'm sure I'm bastardizing the professional terms here) by the nozzle because it's pulled...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Aaron apparently, in his own words in this podcast thinks suppression of technology, at least in some circumstances, is "just good business practice". https://www.podchaser.com/podcasts/the-higherside-chats-27046/episodes/aaron-murakami-jeremiah-ferwer-150784081 Hard to determine who are ...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Any elaboration on that?
Because I'm convinced it'll work with a delta T. And might with ambient air. I probably just lack the explanation skills.
I guess we'll find out. I'm happy to fail, but I will try anyway.

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
I'm a member of Jeremiah's Patreon. In his latest setup he has a big radiator with fans as a condensor. So still waisting a huge amount of heat. I feel that's in search of high output power and self regulation. I my opinion, you can't claim high efficiency if you need to cool your condensor that muc...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Ah yeah since his previous partner died. But Jeremiah was going in the heated fluid direction before already. Aaron gives me the wrong "vibes" though. Just from what I gather from the internet though. There's another guy, Charlie Solis, he's going down a similar road, but seems to be more ...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Haha yeah Paul (the guy posting in that thread you linked, I'm reading it all) likes to make himself sound important. The thread actually explains more about Paul's motivations and development direction than his Patreon. I'm understanding more about his supposed discoveries from the Tesla patents. H...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Missed one detail. Jeremiah is working with a heated vacuum tank on one side and an ambient condensor on the other. He's producing quite a bit of power with that. But as I explained above, it seems wasteful and short lived. Paul on the other hand. I'm not exactly sure what he's trying. Difficult to ...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Yeah that's what they're working on. But it seems wasteful of heat. And so far it seems to be testing max power output. They have a few ideas that I don't fully agree with and would like to prove otherwise. They seem to rely on hotter gasses increasing in viscosity. But that entails that you have to...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
I missed some posts I see. With the vacuum cleaner analogy in mind. I'm not proposing to have the motor/pump pull so hard that it creates a cold vacuum because of decompression. What would happen in you plugged the hose of the vacuum cleaner with your hand and leave a small gap. Air rushes in and yo...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
Yeah I've come across Paul in my research recently. I was a short time member of his Patreon.
I'll spend some time reading that thread though, as I haven't seen that before.
I'll also try to get something on paper, but the next few days will be quite busy for me, so it might take a bit.

Re: Heat is never hot or cold. Internal energy can be hot or cold.
My 2 cents. Ideal compression is a bunching up of internal energy. The fluid particles have less space to move around with their internal energy and have to give it off to their surroundings in the form of heat. In the real world some heat will be added during compression due to friction and all tha...

Re: Tesla's "Ambient Heat Engine" Experiment
I've been watching a lot of YouTube and Patreon builders who are experimenting with the turbines. All very promising.
I do plan on building my own, because it's a very interesting path. And also, ebay isn't really an option in Vietnam hehe.
