Manson Engine
As the forum lacks a dedicated Mason engine thread, may as well get one going. Some designs have two openings this one only one. https://i.ibb.co/28dZYzQ/Untitled.jpg https://i.ibb.co/tppZ3bj/Untitled.jpg Test and assembly of a model https://youtu.be/Ala-SnftXqs Another basic nice setup better witho...

Ross yoke linkage machines operate on 120° thermodynamic angle instead of the conventional 90° No matter what all require at least 35° Fahrenheit (1.67°C) temperature difference to operate. This engine has 3 spoke flywheel 1 is displacer bottom dead, 2 is working bottom dead, 3 both fully retracted ...

Re: New Theory of Hot Air Engine Operation
Great post and in my opinion engines strokes are waaay to long. The less "pumping in", more efficient, bigger cylinder and not a single focused heat spot. World is obsessed with flywheels and rotation but pendulums are way more efficient. Veljko Milkovic world of Two-Stage Mechanical Oscil...

Fresnel lenses can melt glass, steel and rocks, no candle flame will produce that kind of temperature.

What is stopping Stirling engines from becoming widely used. What is stopping Stirling engines from becoming widely used in the Geothermal field.
Nothing is stopping it, if build right they are very efficent. All whats needed is a commercial product at the right price.

Re: I want to build a high efficiency Stirling electric generator
I was thinking primarily in terms of transportation. Could such a water based pressure system be practical for a motor vehicle? No, modern air powered cars heat the air in engine or before entering to increase range/efficiency, more or less a hybrid system. The air is stored in 250 bar (3600 psi) t...

High pressure air power is the future. No need for unnatural lethal AC power at all. Anything in a homestead with a motor can run of airline or tank. No need for conversions and expensive electronic. 800 watt motor almost perfect match for 1kw free piston engine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeSNE...
