Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
I think platinum burns any hydrocarbon wouldn’t have to be hydrogen but at maybe a higher temp

Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
For sure! It seems to open a hole new window for cheap easy build compact engines that you can actually use have you seen my Thermoacoustic generator?

Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
Dear Sadi
So your saying that the alpha is the real stirling engine And every other derivative is LTD (Low temperature difference)

Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
Ltd stands for low temperature displacement which describes a type of stirling engine I don’t think that my engine would fit that category or does it? please explain!

Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
Cheers I might have been slowly coming to that conclusion but are you sure you would not call this a hybrid of some sort as other enthusiasts seem to think so I Honestly am not sure

Re: Hybrid Thermoacoustic Stirling Engine
Hello everybody the sealant on the bottom is gasket cement it insulates the inside can and isolates the heat my next one has a 22cm diameter hot interface and also making a double action version stay tuned
